Providing inclusive and culturally safe care is a key principle of CNO's Code of Conduct for nurses. This principle highlights the importance of learning and understanding cultural context and how an increased awareness of, for example, disabilities, sexual identity and anti-Indigenous and anti-Black racism can influence client care. To support nurses' learning on these topics, CNO recommends the following resources for guidance. We have included practice resources and reports that can help strengthen nurses' learning.
