Discontinuing or Declining to Provide Care practice standard webinar

This webcast will provide you with an overview of the College of Nurses of Ontario’s (CNO’s) new Discontinuing or Declining to Provide Care practice standard.

CNO has developed a new practice standard that describes the accountabilities for nurses when it comes to discontinuing or declining to provide care to patients.

Every nurse is responsible to understand and practice these professional expectations related to refusal of care or discontinuing nursing service. This webinar will help you better understand the standard and how to apply it to your situation and practice setting.

The one-hour session will include:

  • An overview of the standard
  • Key features of the standard
  • A Q&A period with participants
