  • Jan. 2005: Nursing Footcare discontinued. Council decided to discontinue the Nursing Footcare standard document. A review found that it contained outdated information and that more relevant information is provided in other CNO documents. Alternative documents with information related to footcare include: Regulated Health Professions Act: Scope of Practice and Controlled Acts Model; Guide to Decide; Medication and Infection Prevention and Control.

In the Medication, Revised 2008 practice standard, a line of French text was inadvertently inserted into one of the standard statement indicators. (See page 6, Implementation, indicator F, first bullet.) The English text is correct and complete. The error is in the print version only; the PDF on the website has been corrected. The College apologizes for any confusion this mistake may have caused.

Temporary Registration granted for up to two facilities
