Celebrate Nursing Week 2018

From Monday, May 7 to Sunday, May 13, the College celebrates the contribution of its 175,000 members to public protection.

Every day, Ontario’s RNs, RPNs and NPs work for the well-being of Canadians. They practise according to the College’s standards and participate in our Quality Assurance Program.

Since 1985, Nursing Week has occurred during Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12. One of the world’s most famous nurses, Nightingale helped to make nursing a recognized profession.

Nursing Week is celebrated with many events across the country. It’s a time to acknowledge and commend nurses for their dedication and contributions to the well-being of Canadians.
