Program Approval

Program Approval is a process by which the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) evaluates nursing education programs to make sure that the program prepares graduates with the entry to practice competencies to practice nursing in the category and or class for which they are seeking registration.

By approving nursing education programs, CNO fulfills its legislative duty and accountability to protect the public.
